May Day Celebration

Join higher education workers from the DMV region to celebrate International Workers’ Day! We are participating in Higher Education Labor United’s May Day Celebration in Washington, D.C.
Meet up with UAM-UMD colleagues at the College Park metro stop and ride together to Metro Center at 4 p.m., or meet us at Metro Center. At 4:45, we’ll march to Franklin Park to enjoy an evening of music and solidarity.

4:45 p.m. Convene with other higher education workers and march to Franklin Park
5:00 p.m. Celebrate workers’ contributions! Main event begins at 5 p.m. and runs through 8 p.m.
