Louiqa Raschid and Luka Arsenjuk, professors at the University of Maryland, explain in The Baltimore Banner what University System of Maryland leadership gets wrong about collective bargaining for USM faculty and graduate workers. Raschid and Arsenjuk, both former members of the UMD-AAUP executive committee, call on USM leadership to “abandon their longstanding obstruction of teachers and researchers looking for ways to counteract the university system’s unilateral decision making.”
