We are participating in Higher Education Labor United’s May Day Celebration in Washington\, D.C. \nMeet up with UAM-UMD colleagues at the College Park metro stop and ride together to Metro Center at 4 p.m.\, or meet us at Metro Center. At 4:45\, we’ll march to Franklin Park to enjoy an evening of music and solidarity. \n4:00 p.m. Meet up at College Park metro and ride to Metro Center together\n4:45 p.m. Convene with other higher education workers and march to Franklin Park\n5:00 p.m. Celebrate workers’ contributions! Main event begins at 5 p.m. and runs through 8 p.m.
