DESCRIPTION:Higher education has become the testing ground for massive cuts and attempts to silence opposition to authoritarianism. \nWe need to understand who is fueling this crisis on our campuses. Join the AAUP for an online research party to examine whether any of your institution’s regents\, trustees\, or governing board members are undermining higher education by supporting\, advocating for\, or profiting from Trump–Musk policies. Our goal is to map conflicts of interest among governing board members who are entrusted with the stewardship of our college and universities. \nThe Action Center on Race and the Economy (ACRE) will facilitate a brief training on how to identify Trump–Musk ties\, and then we’ll spend the rest of the time collaboratively discussing and collating our findings. \nCheck your email for the link!
